1. Purpose of AllergyTrip

AllergyTrip is a community-driven platform that helps people with food allergies:

• discover restaurants and hotels, generate AI-powered allergy insights from restaurant reviews, scan menus for potential allergens, and create multilingual allergy cards for travel
• read and write allergy-related reviews
• ask and answer questions
• share experiences related to food safety

⚠️ AllergyTrip does not provide medical advice. Information shared on the platform is based on personal experiences and community input.

2. Eligibility

You must:

• be at least 13 years old
• provide accurate registration information
• use the Service only for lawful purposes

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• keeping your login credentials secure
• all activity under your account
• ensuring your content is accurate to the best of your knowledge

You may delete your account at any time.

4. User-Generated Content

You may submit content including:

• reviews
• ratings
• questions and answers
• photos
• comments

By submitting content, you grant AllergyTrip a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the Service.

You agree NOT to post:

• false or misleading information
• medical advice presented as professional advice
• hateful, abusive, or discriminatory content
• copyrighted content you do not own
• spam or promotional material without permission

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these rules.

5. Allergy & Safety Disclaimer

AllergyTrip relies on community input.

• Safety ratings and reviews are subjective
• Restaurants and hotels may change ingredients, staff, or practices
• You are always responsible for verifying information directly with establishments

Use the Service at your own risk.

6. Location Services

If enabled, we may use your approximate location to:

• show nearby places
• improve search relevance

You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

AllergyTrip offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions that provide access to premium features.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account (on iOS) or your Google Play account (on Android) upon confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the price displayed at the time of purchase.

You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings or Google Play account settings after purchase.

Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

8. Intellectual Property

AllergyTrip, its logo, design, and software are owned by AllergyTrip.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute our Service without permission.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• you violate these Terms
• your behavior harms the community
• required by law

You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• AllergyTrip is not liable for allergic reactions, injuries, or damages
• We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or safety of listed places
• Use of the Service is at your own risk

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of AllergyTrip means you accept the updated Terms.
